Founded in 1973, OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates, Inc. is a national organization dedicated to the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans in the United States. With headquarters in Washington, D.C., OCA Advocates has over 100 chapters and college affiliates across the U.S. The Long Island Chapter was founded in 1981, providing civic education and co-sponsoring many community-wide programs serving our communities in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties.
